Connectivity and walkability are essential to a thriving, healthy city. Community parks, sidewalks, walking paths and bike lanes are what helps to keep a city healthy and is a key economic driver. We can tie in our recreation plan to our infrastructure plan to ensure that we are creating opportunities for people to be active and safe. We can utilize resources already available to empower our neighborhoods to develop and maintain community parks and green spaces. A healthy city is a productive and happy city.
